The new go-to app for hayfever sufferers

We’ve all had to risk going outside to test if our hayfever would flare up. But what if I told you that you didn’t have to anymore?

Today I woke up, checked PollenPulse and took my nasal spray. It was so simple, so easy. Just like that I avoided walking around the office with a red nose, my biggest giveaway when the symptoms are running high.

Like many of you, I used to check the pollen forecast, but it’s never as accurate as you would like it to be; and balancing a chaotic day in the office is never easy when you are constantly attending to your symptoms… Not good enough. I need to prepare for my day ahead.

Did you know that 1 in 7 people get hayfever in Australia? You’d be surprised how many people choose to ignore the symptoms of hayfever. But what they should know is that ignoring the symptoms only prolongs the suffering. Why spend your time suffering at the office, with the family or with friends when you could be symptom free?

We are a united bunch us hayfever suffers – so let’s start acting like it!

PollenPulse’s crowdsourced data helps other allergy sufferers know what conditions are like in their local area in real-time. Get involved by rating the pollen count in your area each morning and start helping others like you plan their day ahead.

Planning your day to avoid a high pollen count? Who would have thought?
